The Best News in the World.......

Yep, thats how I see it.  After 6 months of meetings,  nutritionist visits and seminars, I got the call I was waiting for....I GOT APPROVED!!!!  I will find out the date next week.   I am so ready for the next part of my journey.

Last visit with the nutritionist today....

Had my last appointment and she recommended me for surgery, now the waiting begins.  The Surgeons office says there is usually a 72 hour turnaround with my insurance company, so I should know something by Monday.

One more visit to the Nutritionist......and then we wait

Had my next to last visit last Wednesday, all was well.  I have been reaching my set goals as far as changing my eating habits and identifying problem areas.  I never realized I was a shoveler!!  I eat like its the last supper!!!  Habits learned as a child.  I have been able to put the utensils down and think about the chewing process, but it HAS NOT been an easy process for me.  Its weird having to unlearn 53 years of doing something that has become automatic.  I guess any process starts with the newborn, infant and toddler stages!!  I guess at this point I am getting anxious, it has been a 6 month process and I am ready.
